Google is doubling down on AI in the workplace — and this time, it means business.

The company has launched Gemini Enterprise, a full-fledged platform designed to help organizations securely build, manage, and scale their own AI agents. 

Unlike the older Workspace Gemini add-ons, this isn’t just a feature boost. Gemini Enterprise is a dedicated Google Cloud platform that acts as a toolkit for deploying intelligent assistants across sales, HR, engineering, and finance. These AI agents can connect to data across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and SAP — allowing for powerful, unified insights and workflow automation. 

Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian calls it “the new front door for AI in the workplace.” The platform offers both no-code tools for everyday employees and advanced features for enterprises, wrapped in a strong security and governance framework.  

Google’s new “front door for AI in the workplace” does come with a price tag—but it’s designed to fit businesses of all sizes. The Gemini Enterprise standard and “plus” editions kick off at $30 per seat per month, while the Gemini Business plan, perfect for startups and smaller teams, starts at just $21 per seat per month. Best part? The business edition includes a 30-day free trial for all customers. 

With OpenAI and Anthropic also targeting the enterprise AI market, Google’s Gemini Enterprise could be its strongest play yet — transforming the way businesses think about automation, productivity, and intelligence in the workplace.
