The Opportunity

The client is from the B2B fashion industry who owns multiple companies, fashion & beauty brands, and products. They maintained numerous databases and endless ERP reports for financial and operational reporting. It was impossible to understand the real-time aging of inventory, suppliers, or vendorsThey needed a unified system that could provide them with insights from multiple databases to make informed, data-backed decisions. We sought the opportunity of Power-BI dashboards to effectively solve these issues for the client. We implemented sixteen specialized dashboards for various business units after carefully analyzing their problems. This helped the management identify hidden trends, keep track of all their company’s growth, spending capacity of the clients, predict demand, and manage inventory effectively.  

Challenges

The client majorly depended on ERP reports for operational and financial decisions. There was no scope for strategic decision making as going through each report was time-consuming and they were not able to draw a conclusion from any of these reports. The data was spread across multiple platforms, and they needed a single, unified platform to view every data and make visual-backed, informed, and real-time data-based decisions.  

Solution

Difinity Digital created a management-level dashboard suite for our client with Power-BI, a prominent Data Analytics tool primarily used for Data Visualization. With the help of the dashboards, the management had full visibility and control over their multiple businesses. They got a centralized view of all the financial and operational metrics that were lost in ERP reports and helped them to make quick and informed decisions.  

 With seamless data integration from multiple platforms, dashboards made it easy for management to get a peek into every business division, from finance, to operation, marketing, and sales. They got full visibility into every aging report which equipped them to make decisions that were backed by real-time insights. These dashboards also helped them to plan strategically by analyzing the sales from each store.
