Microsoft Unveils Fara-7B, a Small Language Model for Computer Use 

Microsoft just dropped Fara-7B, a small but smart agentic AI model that can actually use your computer like you do. It reads the screen, clicks buttons, types, scrolls—basically handles everyday tasks on its own. Since the data is stored locally on device, it’s faster and more private. This open-weight model is now available on Microsoft Foundry and Hugging Face under an MIT license.
