AI Workmate and Work Companion to Transform workplace productivity

Lenovo showcased two experimental workplace AI concepts, AI Workmate and AI Work Companion at Mobile World Congress 2026. 

The AI Workmate concept features a robotic arm with a display designed to assist with tasks such as scanning documents, converting them into presentations, and projecting content onto nearby surfaces. Alongside it, Lenovo introduced the AI Work Companion, a desktop hub intended to help users organize schedules, track tasks, and manage daily workflows. 

The concepts reflect a broader industry trend toward integrating AI assistants into physical devices aimed at supporting workplace productivity and task automation.
