Apple Enters a New AI Era with the Launch of Siri AI

Apple has introduced Siri AI, a major overhaul of its digital assistant unveiled at WWDC 2026. Built on a new AI architecture developed in collaboration with Google, the upgraded assistant delivers more natural conversations, deeper contextual understanding, and the ability to handle complex, multi step tasks across apps and services.  

The new Siri integrates personal context, cross-app actions, and a dedicated chat-style interface, marking Apple’s biggest AI announcement to date. The launch signals Apple’s renewed push into generative AI as it seeks to compete more directly with AI platforms from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
